''You go through the town of Burry Port and then the second turning off that will lead you to the harbour. If you go through the housing estate, you can park your car by the open grass and then you just walk over the two or three dunes and drop down to the other side on the beach. You can actually walk all the way along that beach and come out at the light house, but when the tide is up, it's a nice place to swim because it's very, very deep and it's quite safe; it's like a swimming pool because on the other side of it, is a sand bank. It's a nice little walk. And if you're really energetic, you can cross over the bridge to get to the other side of the harbour and walk along past the RNLI and keep to the right. That leads you to another part of the beach, which is really nice and if you go up through the sand dunes and round the corner, you get to another little bay, which is rather nice because no-one goes there, but it's a bit of a heave.'' - Erika
