   Environmental Sound Maps

Sound Memories works closely with older people, their families &/or carers to
record the environmental narrative of that person's life, so that they can stay connected to self through the sound of the places that they have lived,  even though they can no longer come outdoors themselves. Sound Maps are then shared here for others to enjoy.

We have recently started working with older volunteers across Wales, who enjoy sending in the sounds of their garden or local area. If you might be interested to do this yourself, there is a fact sheet HERE. Meanwhile, here are our existing Sound Maps.
